Working at home can be a blessing for busy individuals, but it can be a challenge to keep your domestic life from bleeding into your professional one.

We were comissioned by Studio Banana to design a series of tools that would help teleworkers establish a home workspace that is both physically and psychologically more productive.

They let the teleworker quickly get set up for productive online collaboration and work. At the end of the day the tools can be packed up into A4 boxes to store away until the next work day begins.

Stage

The Stage is a modular, foldable work surface that lays out a clearly defined boundary for your work area. Each module is made from fabric coated foam and clicks together with a edge magnets. The modules bring in specific small details to help with your work - foldable laptop supports, embossed areas for tidying away stationery and a touch-sensitive area for jotting down notes.

Manager

The Manager is a hub for organizing all your electronic accessories - it is a power point, USB hub, tablet stand and webcam base all in one. Made from machined aluminum, it provides a solid focal point for your workplace. The top swivels to get the right orientation for your second screen.

Roadie

The Roadies is a webcam with integrated lighting for video conferencing that can also double as desk lamp. The adjustable head lets you get just the right angle so that no one spends a call looking up your nose. The ring light around the camera gives a bright and professional look. The camera can also be rotated down to work as a document scanner.

Backdrop

The Backdrop is just that - a pop-up screen that can be clipped to the back of your chair to provide a bit of isolation and provide a neutral background for video calls.
